Emma is the experienced trainer and owner behind Poppy's Paws. She works exclusively with force-free, reward-based methods, because lasting results begin with trust, not fear.
Every session is tailored to your dog, your household and your everyday life. You'll finish with a clear written plan and practical follow-up resources, so progress continues long after Emma leaves. Fully qualified and insured, she brings calm, down-to-earth expertise wherever you need it, whether that's in your kitchen, on the school run or out on the moor.
If you want a qualified professional who understands dogs and puts their wellbeing first, you’re in the right hands.
Three ways to work together, from a single home visit to ongoing support on real walks.

Emma comes to your home to talk through what's going on, then builds a fully bespoke plan for your dog. Every consultation is followed up with a written training plan and resources to work through.
Reactive on the lead? Sore shoulder from pulling? Poor recall? Emma takes the pressure off, working through the challenges on real walks and giving you clear notes and practical videos after every session so you can keep the progress going.
03
Trainer-led walks alongside other owners, so your dog can practise new skills in a social environment with Emma there to guide you every step of the way. These run on demand, so drop Emma a message or keep an eye on Facebook.
Support that starts before you bring your puppy home and builds habits for a lifetime. Choose from the options below.
A home visit before your puppy arrives. Emma visits your home to help you get the setup, equipment, nutrition, sleep, journey home and those crucial first days right, so you can prevent problems before they begin.
The first few weeks are exhausting. Emma visits, spends time with your puppy, gets them out for fresh air and starts their socialisation while you catch your breath.
Three 1:1 sessions to keep you on track during the first few months. Bespoke training that includes socialisation, toilet training, a good night's sleep, loose lead walking, recall and much more. All made fun. All with handouts to keep.
A structured course for children or adults living with a fear of dogs. Seven sessions run online, the remaining face to face, and every one is carried out by a fully qualified KAD professional, at a pace that suits you.
